Today is "Autism Awareness Day", which explains why there are traffic
barricades and signs all along my street, so that the little Zombies from
the local elementary school can march around the block carrying those silly
jigsaw puzzle-shaped Advertisements and robotically chanting "Autism
Speaks", over and over and undoubtedly totally oblivious to what it even
means, particularly since 'Autism Speaks' certainly does NOT speak for
autistic individuals, but rather speaks for their own Manipulative
profiteering agenda based on the myth that autism is a 'disease' requiring
THEIR idea of 'treatment', when the REAL Disease is the NT Lack of Respect,
Acceptance, Sensitivity, Compassion, the Denial of Dignity, and general
Intolerance for those different from themselves i.e. the rest of their
HERD! The only REAL Treatment autistic individuals Need is to be Treated
with Respect and Dignity!

It seems to me that as autism is a spectrum, people with autism don't necessarily experience it exactly the same way.

It's not a Real spectrum, just a Collection of Behavior descriptions used
to generate billing codes for those who Exploit it. And being different,
Nobody really experiences anything exactly the same as someone else. Back
when Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry had some good exhibits,
there was an excellent one which showed that people don't even see colors
exactly the same way, and Autism is ALL about being different, i.e.
Individual.
