Autism doesn't need a 'cure' since it's NOT a disease!

Rather, the REAL Disease, that really Does need a Cure is Insensitivity and
Intolerance, which is particularly noticeable by autistic individual just
because they happen to be Blessed with being More Different than the rest
of the HERD!

When I began researching autism several years ago, particularly based on
those so-called 'symptoms' I'd had all my life, it was always the Bigoted
non-acceptance of it that stood out the most and ultimately, autism, when
described in truly Practical terms, was not according to some kind of exact
Science and therefore Objective Scientific criteria, but rather Totally
Subjective Opinions of so-called 'experts' playing 'authorities' - more
like BULLIES Coercing Their Standard for Behavior, better known as
'NT'...and I've Always been a nonconformist ;)

Sorry about that. My newsreader defaulted before I could chage the name to
Autindi - it's easier to sort through the ngs with with a different
'handle' for each one - less confusion as to topic for one thing.

Being a nonconformist does have some advantages... you consider
the world in ways a sheep wouldn't dream of (or wouldn't dare to).

And applause to you for not conforming.
I just wish the price wasn't so high.

I guess what drives the near-ubiquitous bullying and coercion is
as simple as the assumption by the herd that whatever their defaults
are, whatever de-facto standards they have fallen ass-backwards
into by not thinking ...MUST... be right, must be proper, must be
the only way. To consider otherwise would require thought.

It has some Awesome advantages, like perceiving the universe in ways the
vast majority of others can't, or won't, even begin to imagine, much less
appreciate, and also because being all alike is simply Boring.

I've thought about that a LOT, because the price is so very high, as in
Unjustly so, but in the final analysis, it always comes down to the Fact
that I Have to be myself, differences and uniquenesses and all, and so
does everyone else, even if they choose to allow Bullies to OWN them and
Coerce them away from that, but I Won't go that route...EVER! Or as my
first album, "Opening A Channel" track 7. "Be Who You Are", a veritable
'autism anthem' puts it:

verse1
Navigating through uncertainty
Struggling all the way
Conflict and confronting constant challenges every day
And all of the intoleration
As you're told how you're to live and to be
They disrespect the variation between you and 'WE'...woah

verse2
Just being yourself and living life in the spirit of laissez faire
Yet there're some who seem to think you're doin' somethin' that you
shouldn't dare
They'll try to get you into 'consultation'
To 'treat' you for your so-called 'disease'
Prepare you for manipulation whenever they please...woah

bridge
In a world of molded plastic people it's so hard to get to where you're
needin' to go
When you won't play their silly plastic fool's game and be
inducted in their status quo
Yet dare to be who you are 'cause they don't want you to know...that
you'll go far...just as who you are

verse3
In the end if you will persevere you'll make it to your
just reward
Through the gift that God has given you to get there of your own accord
And time for great jubilation
In the dignity it took to survive
With happiness and wild elation you'll have arrived...woah
With happiness and wild elation...YOU'LL HAVE ARRIVED!

That's Precisely it!!! And that's why I write music that actually
Provokes thought, even from the Nonthinking - but with Zombies, it's a
bit difficult ;)

You've already discovered that we're highly resistant to tinned pork
products around here.

Try the local synagogue instead.

When I first saw your post, I thought, "Wow, did you ever pick the wrong
group to spam."

The replies didn't disappoint.

However, you are a truly terrible person. You think you're going to get
a lot of desperate parents on the hook, and you'll offer them a lot of
handwaving and nothing of substance. You'll take them for as much money
as you can get out of them.

"Attend our seminar! Only $200! A real bargain!"
"Buy this CD, make your child listen to it ten times a day! A steal at
$50."
"Buy this book, it has all the stuff in it from the seminar! Not
available anywhere else! Only $25."
"Sign up for regular classes, to learn how to fix your kid! An entire
three-month course for only $1200!"

Fuck you.
