Hello Bearcub,

You should talk to your friends and family about your depression, but at least you have the fact you were able to go to university in your favour.

This puts you in a better position than the vast majority of people on the autism spectrum.

Much like people starving elsewhere, other people's suffering doesn't
actually affect mine. It's relative to self, not relative to the world.

Not that I'm not grateful for the gifts I have, of course I'm aware of
them and I give thanks every day for what I have.

But at the end of the day none of my personal privileges change the long
term struggles still cause depression and suicidal ideation.
