Wow. At first I thought my posts were being eaten somewhere. This is the
first of anything I posted that appeared later.

Which part?
"Now, as to the OP's love of "days until": that is a Big Interest, aka
"perseveration". See this for an explanation which may help: "
I understand the Big Interest thingies. Does he do this from memory or?
I've heard of people with different forms of autism that can tell you
what day of the week a date falls on or can calculate in their head huge
piles of numbers. I guess I can do the math thing, but not the day of
the week.
"Perseveration is kind of like your interest in anime figurines and
Sailor Moon, but deeper, to the point where it becomes one of the
primary foci of the person's being."
So you can Google. Did you find all the pages I did? Sounds like you
landed on the pages at Geocities and Genvid, but there's more. I used to
be interested in Atari platforms and classic videogame history. :) I
wonder how many anime fans may have some form of autism or Asperger's. I
know of one man's son that is mentally handicapped but his focus is now
on Sailor Moon (used to be Jem and the Holograms) and he's got a rather
strong case of Asperger's. He's a good kid.
"Hopefully this will have explained [things]."
Not to discount the original poster's interest, he's welcome to have it.
It's certainly a different thing to be interested in doing!
BTW: Finally got an official doctor's diagnosis in that I have
Asperger's. My mother tried to have me diagnosed when I was in 3rd
grade, but back then in the 1970s, they had no idea what they were
looking for. I lost 2 jobs in the past 5 years because of things I did
and were not related to my actual job performance. Still fighting with
the union on the last job - the main boss guy was a jerk and I got
treated very badly. Also still fighting the state unemployment people
for money, and finally filed for SSDI within the past few weeks. Mainly
because of the last boss' labor relations guy and his demeaning comment:
"If you don't understand what you did wrong, there's something wrong
with you!" And from what I've been told, I did nothing wrong!! They just
wanted an excuse to fire me.
"Read this very carefully, I shall type this only once nyo!"
"There would be little point in typing it twice nyo!!" - 'Allo 'Allo nyo
"They make crayONs; do they make crayOFFs?"
